Irfan Basha is an Applied AI Engineer specializing in building production-ready AI systems that solve complex enterprise problems. His expertise lies in taking Generative AI beyond prototypes by engineering reliable, controllable, and observable AI solutions that integrate seamlessly into real business workflows. His work spans Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LLM orchestration, evaluation frameworks (Evals), AI observability, recommendation systems, and enterprise integrations. He currently leads the design and development of AI capabilities for enterprise workforce management, building intelligent systems for scheduling optimization, shift replacement, and employee recommendations. By combining LLMs with deterministic business logic, enterprise APIs, and production engineering practices, he has delivered AI solutions that automate critical operational workflows while maintaining reliability, explainability, and measurable business value. With a strong foundation in AI systems engineering and backend architecture, Irfan enjoys solving the challenges that make AI successful in production, from orchestration and context engineering to guardrails, observability, and continuous evaluation.
